Around the World - The Rides

For those who don’t know the latest adventure is around the world, from the bottom to the top, and then all the way round.

I’ll start in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 9th October 2010. I’ll then head south to Tierra Del Fuego and the most southerly town in the world Ushuaia. Time to turn the Bike around and then head north all the way to Prudo Bay in Alaska

The first part of the route looks like this.

Once I get to the top then it’s time to come back down and work my way across the USA. It’s not the first time I’ve been there but this time I have nobody else to consider and I might as well see as much as I can. Then I can ship the bike to England

This should be the rough route for the second leg.

The final leg of this trip will be from London to Magadan in far eastern Siberia.
Since my Russian is non existent and the complexities of planning a trip are hard enough I plan on doing this leg as part of an organized tour with Compass Expeditions an Aussie based company who run this once a year.

So  the first and second leg should take thirteen months. I then have to amuse myself for nine months before June 2011 when the London to Magadan trip starts
